Hair removal

Monday, December 1st, 2008

These days woman like to get rid of body hair as fast as possible. We are obsessed with smooth legs, and smooth underarms and woman will go to any legs to get rid of the hairs that plague them! Here are some easy ways to remove hair, at low costs:

The first, and most obvious is shaving. There are over two dozen razors on the market that promise longevity, and a good clean shave. The truth is that most of these products are overpriced, and the razor becomes dull after only a week or two of shaving….on the other spectrum razors that are cheap can cause you cuts that get irritated, and possibly affected over time. Seems hopeless, right? Choosing a good razor is like choosing a trusty friend; you can use it over time, find replacement blades, and not have to worry about cuts, scrapes, and bumpy skin. In addition to a decent razor, find a decent moisturizing shave cream so your legs stay hydrated and smooth.

Waxing is a painful alternative to shaving; some woman swear by it because hair stays away for weeks instead of days, and your post-waxing result is more smooth than with a razor. Using a home kit, or going to the salon for a wax can cost you upwards of fifteen dollars, but the truth is that it can be very painful, and unless you’re desperate for smooth legs not really necessary.  If your tolerance for pain isn’t high, you can try bleaching hair – this is a more popular approach for hair on the lip, or eyebrow, but it professional bleaching is available for leg hair. This is perfect for those woman who have little hair, and would rather hide what’s natural instead of completely removing it.  If you feel that your hair growth is too dark, and out of control to contain with a razor, bleach, or wax kit, you can opt for laser removal. This is a pricey option, but it will remove all traces of hair for up to a year or more.
